24-hour Urgent: A written report delivered within 24 calendar hours.

Standard: For non-urgent cases, a written report is delivered within two to four business days, often sooner, pending current caseload.

What we report on

Our teleradiology service covers the full spectrum of veterinary diagnostic imaging. We report on all species, including companion animals, exotics, wildlife, equine and large animals.

Radiography (X-ray)

Specialist interpretation of digital radiographs for all species, from routine screening to complex orthopaedic, thoracic, abdominal and contrast studies.

Ultrasound

Abdominal, cardiac, musculoskeletal, cervical and thoracic ultrasonography.

Ultrasound interpretation is most reliable when performed directly by our radiologists. Where studies have been acquired by another clinician, the diagnostic value of our report can be affected by image quality and acquisition technique. We are always happy to review submitted ultrasound studies and will provide the most clinically useful interpretation possible from the images available.

CT

Detailed interpretation of computed tomography studies for surgical planning, oncology staging, neurological, medical and emergency diagnostic workups.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging for neurological conditions including the brain and spine, musculoskeletal disorders and soft tissue evaluation.

Fluoroscopy

Dynamic imaging for airway and swallowing studies, urinary tract contrast procedures and interventional guidance.

Nuclear Medicine

Scintigraphy, SPECT/CT and PET/CT reporting, a specialist modality offered by very few teleradiology providers in Australia.

We report on all species, including companion animals, exotics, wildlife, equine and large animals.

His clinical interests include small animal and equine musculoskeletal imaging, MRI, and nuclear medicine, all areas where precision in both acquisition and interpretation can make all the difference to a patient’s outcome. Juan is equally committed to integrating novel imaging techniques into practice, so the diagnostic options available through RFP stay current with the field.

Beyond clinical work, Juan holds a teaching appointment at the University of Sydney, where he supervises pre- and postgraduate students in veterinary diagnostic imaging, and remains actively involved in clinical and academic research.
